California Overtime Pay Laws
Welcome and thank you for visiting CaliforniaOvertimePay.com, the website of California Overtime Pay Law Attorney Seth E. Tillmon, Esq.
California law provides most employees with the right to overtime wages at one and a half times an employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of eight in a day or forty in a week.
California law also provides most employees with the right to double-time wages at double an employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of twelve in a day and all hours in excess of eight on the seventh consecutive day of work in a workweek.
Employees may be entitled to overtime pay wages even if they are on a salary, paid by commission, or have an impressive title such as “manager”, “team leader”, or “supervisor”.
If you believe that your current or former employer has violated the California employment laws by not paying you overtime wages at the appropriate overtime pay rate, please contact The Law Office of Seth E. Tillmon for a confidential consultation and evaluation of your potential employment law claims.
